cars

My family always has car trouble. once we had two cars then on the same day both of our cars died. we bought a new van but the maroon car aka. "devil car" cost more to fix it than it was worth so we got rid of it.

Then for a graduation/birthday present we bought my brother a blue scion. we used it as our second car until he went to college we still pay 500 dollars a month to pay for it. now we only have one car which my dad uses to go to work an hour away while me and my mom are home we can't go any where till my dad is home.

saving money

My mom and dad are in this financial peace thing at church and the got me this this chart that says what chore what day and how much I get payed for it. and if I do all my chores I get payed my maximum amount of money (15 dollars) and that is my allowance that is split to giving, savings, and spending. I also get another chart that says what I'm going to use with the money and how much it is. I'm saving for street fighter 4. the part I don't like is that I have to use my own money on things that are not needed.

paintball party

this weekend I am going to my friend Jacob's birthday party and for his birthday we are going to go paintball. paint balling is so fun it's like your at war with no blood. paint balls don't really hurt that much. last time we went paint balling we where were the last of our team alive and the a paint ball suddenly crashed against his helmet. If you where there it would be a lot funnier. but I can't wait to go paint balling.

puppets

for church I'm doing puppets. it's lots of fun. in our skit me and my friend our sports announcers for PESN (puppet entertainment sports network) and where talk at the pregame about how the running back ran it in on triple overtime and on the sidelines he talks about how it wasn't him it was gods power.

going to corpus

tommorow I am going to courpus to see my aunt, uncle, and grandpa. you may be thinking why would I go to the beach in the winter well because it is warm up here it fells like spring. and the best part is that because it's winter and you can see the moon in the day time the waves will be awsome. I can't wait to leave.

super bowl

I am so happy that the steelers won the super bowl. the weird thing is that it seemed every one was routing for the cardinals. I'm guessing mostly because every one just hates the steelers more than they don't care about the cardinals. well I don't know about you but I'm happy.

watership down

I am reading a book for school called water ship down. it's a book about brave Bunny's that talk. that is just weird. It doesn't fell like it is a really interesting book if you ask me but I guess I'll just have to read the rest.

no snow

my mom and I are so jealous of the north right now. pretty much every one is getting snow except us. even my brother that goes to college in Lubbock got snow. the average temperature here in south Texas is 70 degrees. and the worst part is that tons of other schools are closed and I am so jealous. why can't it just snow.

my old camp counselor

yesterday at church Aggies for Christ came to our church and did the Assembly. then to my surprise my camp blue haven counselor was doing the sermon. in the middle of the sermon he actually saw me in the middle of the sermon and remembered me. after worship I asked him if he is going to be a counselor again and he said he is hoping to. I really hope he is because he was my favorite counselor.

sleeping in on a school day

I got mad at my mom today because she let me sleep in on a school day. that sounds cool but she didn't tell me about it. so I woke up thinking that it is early in the morning and my mom would come in and get me. but really it was 1:00 o'clock pm. so I have less time to do every thing I need to get done and I don't want to still be doing school at 6:00 o'clock. I don't think I'm mad that she let me stay up it's just that it fells like I don't have a opinion in my own life.

inauguration day

yesterday was inauguration day. I watched it on TV. I think it was very funny when chief justice Roberts messed up the oath. I think Obama will be a good president but, he makes a lot of promises witch he has to keep or else he is in trouble. I think it's good for America to have a black president it will help the U.S.A in ending racism.

it's cold

it's very cold today. even though it's not under 32 degrees it's cold to people that live in south Texas. were used to hot and dry but not cold and dry. sometimes it's cold enough to have snow but no precipitation. and other times we have precipitation but it's not cold enough for it to snow. the best we get is hail and that's not fun. my mom won't turn on the heater so I am freezing.

video games continued

video games are like curling up with a book or like watching TV. except that video games also have community. for example you can play multiplayer with people across the world or with how ever is in the room with you.there's also Co'op so you can play the story mode with a friend. so don't think video games are something to block other people out.

video games

I like to play video games. they can help you and they can hurt you. games like grand theft auto are bad because of the language, sex, and you run around killing random people. some games like little big planet are good because you get to create your own levels and use your creativity. games like halo 1-3 are actually lite M (mature 17+) games that I think there for the teen (13+) gamers because your fighting unrealistic aliens to save mankind. army games are good for dads and kids to bond. for example the kid plays the game and the dad can talk about history to the kid. so they will talk about something there both interested in. so I think video games can be a good thing to help the family bond in ways you couldn't think of.

my dog

I have a dog named Susie. she is a black Labrador retriever mix. she is the most intergetic dog I've ever seen. I don't like those little dogs with a high squeaky bark cause they are annoying to me. once there was a dead squirrel in the road and she picked it up and brought it home then vultures were circling around the next day. she is a handful but she's loads of fun and i love her.

bad picture

the day after i started my blog my mom and i tried to take a picture for my blog but I'm bad at taking pictures. when i try to smile it doesn't come out right. so we tried to get a picture of me juggling. for some reason my mom picked the one you see now. It looks like I'm levitating a tennis ball.

my first blog

this is my first blog and I'm kinda lost. my mom home schools me and she made me start a blog. personally I think homeschooling has more negatives than positives. first of all you don't get to be with other kids and you start to feel trapped inside my house. but if you have a pet it feels less neglected and you get no grades. but personally I'd rather be in public school
